Since 1918


We are proud to be the oldest family-run hotel in the historical heart of Prague with a view of Haštalské náměstí and St Castulus Church (kostel svatého Haštala) dating from 1234. The hotel has been owned and run by our family for five generations since 1918. We can promise you will feel at home here.


In all of Hotel Haštal’s 29 comfortable and completely renovated rooms and apartments you will find tradition and history combined with all the amenities of a four-star hotel. Why and How to Book Your Room in Our Hotel

I and my wife Jana have been thinking about how to make the booking process easier and more comfortable for our future guests. That is why we created this new website.

Two ways how to book a room with the owners:

  • Why book here?

    • Only we can give you the best offer.
    • You will get the best available room and price.
    • There are no additional costs for us in booking this way.
    • We know all the specific features of all our rooms like nobody else.
    • We are a small family hotel and thanks to that we have enough time to fulfill all your wishes and answer all your questions.

  • How to book and get the best price?

    • Book a long time in advance.
    • Book as early as possible.
    • You can even book 2 Years in advance.
    • Choose the right period.
    • Half prices compared to the rest of the months are in: January, February, March, November, December (excluding New Years Eve period).
    • Choose the right day.
    • The lowest prices are on: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.
    • The more days you book the lower price you get per night.
    • The more rooms you book the better price you get in total.
    • Classic room is always cheaper than Deluxe room.
